We believe that God hears us when we pray and that we can hear Him speak when we listen.
Each week, a team prays for our church service, asking what God might have in store for the service. After the teaching, the team leader will share his or her particular impressions of what God may want to do in terms of healing and encouragement. Then, people who feel these items might apply to them are invited to receive prayer at the side of the room during the closing worship time. Anyone else is also invited to receive prayer.
You may find that there are times or situations in life where you’d like a group of people to pray specifically for you or your situation. We have teams ready to partner with you and cover you in prayer—in person or online. Reach out to todd@elmcityvineyard.org if you’d like to request a prayer ministry time. Alternatively, our staff regularly pray for folks who submit prayer requests via our contact form.
Twice a year, we offer a Prayer Ministry Training. This is for those who want to be trained to pray for folks, those who are curious what prayer is about, or for those who want a refresher. We teach the Vineyard 5-step prayer model and practice praying for others. See below for any upcoming trainings or contact todd@elmcityvineyard.org to request a training.
