Over the last few Sundays, we’ve shared a timely message with the hopes of encouraging generosity toward our community. We’re so grateful that year over year ECVers have donated time, talent, and treasure. Indeed, financial gifts throughout the years have sustained ECV’s staff, our partners overseas, and our ministry in the church and to our city. This year, we’ve raised around 75% of our budget YTD. Given some underspending, we’re roughly breaking even with savings in the bank. This is the time of year where we usually make up the rest of our budget YTD. We often do that by asking ECV alumni to give. This year, we will do that again and call on folks that currently call ECV their home to give. ‍

We are encouraging folks who don’t give regularly to ECV to start this month. We’re also encouraging folks who give to give a special one-time gift or to increase your giving even if it’s just by $10 or $50. This is a practice of risk, faithfulness, and generosity. We’re asking for y’all to consider this invitation and then to make it happen this Giving Tuesday, November 28th.
