On this first Sunday of Advent and the first day of the liturgical year, we will take time in this seminar to introduce and practice several ways to build silence, interior stillness, and attentiveness to God into both devotional times and the ordinary moments of our lives. Before the holidays build to a crescendo is an especially helpful time for us to learn to be quiet before God as a way of life and to carry that quiet with us throughout the year.
