One of our neighbors in the FSUMC building is New Haven Rising, an organization pushing for economic justice and specifically a more just relationship between New Haven and Yale. Recently, they completed a series of community conversations all across our city asking folks what would bring peace and flourishing to our city. To mark MLK Day and in light of Dr. King’s biblical vision for economic justice, we’ll have a time for dinner and discussion after church in 1/18 with two New Haven Rising leaders, Rev.
