We've been in the Psalms together the last 2 months, and as we enter the final month of summer, we’re beginning a new songwriting project to create new songs based on the psalms. Every Friday, from 7/31 to 8/28, anyone in the church is invited to send in a recording of a newly written song to Tina, who will add it to a shared google drive where songwriters will be able to hear & interact with everyone's songs.

The hope is not only to stir up the wells of creativity within many of us but also to have a few songs we can take across the finish line and incorporate into the community songbook of our worship gatherings as a church.

To help jumpstart this challenge, Tina will host a gathering at her house on Friday, August 7th at 6pm where we'll sing some existing psalms-based worship songs together and then try some in-person songwriting in small groups.
